This collection aims to explore the intricate relationship between the microbiome and antimicrobial resistance, focusing on the latest findings and strategies to combat this global health challenge. 

Topics of interest include the role of microbiome in acquiring and spreading resistance genes, the impact of antimicrobial agents on microbiome, interactions with host-immune responses, innovative approaches  for studying the microbiome, and microbiome-based interventions for preventing resistance.
